Hawkins Webb is directed by Patrick J. Monahan, a highly respected Construction Executive. Mr. Monahan has nearly two decades of construction experience, with projects ranging from $1 million to over $80 million. Managing partner Michael J. Russo is a creative and resourceful Architect. He has provided full-spectrum design and planning services for major commercial clients in the United States and Europe for 25 years.

Michael J. Russo
For over 28 years, Michael J. Russo has been providing architectural design, project management and planning services in New York City, Long Island, in 30 states, and in Europe. He has designed and managed a diverse array of construction and restoration projects, including municipal, commercial, retail, restaurant, multi-family, sustainable, historic preservation, telecommunication, data, industrial, medical, office and amusement uses.
As Managing Partner of Hawkins Webb, Mr. Russo leads all design/ build projects, lease review, from the preliminary stages through design, permitting, and construction. As an experienced construction manager, Mr. Russo value-engineers project design from the onset.
PROJECT MANAGER
Christine Mac Connell
For over 20 years, Christine Mac Connell has been providing support and management for a variety of construction projects. She has performed all administrative and assistant project manager responsibilities for civil, multi-family, retail, commercial, medical and fitness projects.
As Project Manager at Hawkins Webb, Mrs. Mac Connell has taken lead on multiple construction projects, from bid process through completion. These projects include Club Pilates and StretchLab studios.
As Assistant Project Manager at Hawkins Webb, Mrs. Mac Connell processes all contracts, purchase orders and payments. She resolves daily construction and scheduling issues with subcontractors and works closely with accounting to reconcile budgets and project close-outs.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Philip G. Hertling
Philip G. Hertling has developed a unique skill set while working in both commercial real estate and commercial construction for over the last 5 years. Most recently at RIPCO Real Estate, Mr. Hertling worked on several projects representing local and institutional landlords, as well as local and national retailers in New York City. In 2018, he led the Manhattan expansion for several Xponential Fitness brands, including Club Pilates and Row House, and completed three transactions within the first year of the assignment. During his time at RIPCO, Mr. Hertling was able to create a large network of real estate professionals, landlords, and business owners throughout NYC.
As Project Manager at Hawkins Webb, Mr. Hertling has taken lead on a full floor commercial office renovation for a highly distinguished real estate developer in Manhattan. He is responsible for coordinating project schedules with subcontractors, as well as overseeing day-to-day construction operations. In addition, Mr. Hertling has brought an innovative approach to Hawkins Webb’s business development, as he continues to build upon his strong relationships in the real estate industry.
